Stroll Danville’s tree-lined Hartz & Prospect Avenues and enjoy artist booths filled with original works of jewelry, glass, ceramic, painting, and photography at Danville’s favorite street fair, Summerfest! Formerly known as the Danville Fine Arts Faire, this year’s Danville Summerfest has lots of new surprises in store.
Summerfest offers fun for kids of all ages: Pony rides, arcades, jump houses, and arts & crafts that will be located along School Street and the Balford Building parking lot, and the Museum of the San Ramon Valley will provide train rides in the Faz Restaurant parking lot.
There will also be live performances on the Main Stage located on Hartz Avenue at Hartz Way on Saturday and Sunday.
As always the fifth annual Classic Car Show will rev up East Prospect on Sunday. Over 40 of the hottest cars will be on display. Come and talk to the owners and see these magnificent machines!
And don’t forget to bring your appetite. Danville restaurants will gear up with great food served in their outdoor seating areas. Visit the Chamber of Commerce Beer & Wine Booths for Schubros Brewery and Black Diamond Brewery craft brews. There will also be wine served from some local wineries.
