The Lafayette Art & Wine Festival is held each year on the third weekend in September. It is the largest event in the Lamorinda area (Lamorinda as in: Lafayette, Moraga and Orinda) and is one of the five largest outdoor festivals in Contra Costa County. Over 50,000 people attend the event each year and enjoy art, handmade crafts, food samples from top local restaurants and top quality wines and microbrews. There are also lots of great activities for children so make sure to bring the whole family to enjoy one of the best ways to spend a weekend out.
