“Tell me and I forget, teach me and I may remember, involve me and I learn.”  ― Benjamin Franklin Those words have rung true well before Mr. Franklin said them and they hold true today and that is the purpose of Lafayette Learning Library – to involve people of all ages in learning and allow them to explore and grow. The Library is one of the largest and complex public/private projects in Lafayette’s history and with over 30,000 square feet of space including a separate children’s area and technology lab it is sure to offer something for everyone to experience. The Library is also home to the Glenn Seaborg Learning Consortium which offers the ability to experience programs from other premier art, science and educational institution in the area under the same roof. The Learning Library is far more than their over 75,000 books, periodicals and audiovisual materials but rather a place where one can become immersed and involved in their own learning. Come and bring your children so that all of you can experience it today and see how much you are missing.
