Ironwood American Bistro
Offering a hand-crafted menu using quality ingredients such as unbleached flours, real cream, wild shrimp, fresh oysters, and cheeses. Almost everything on the menus are made in-house. Sausage, fresh noodles, ice cream, beignets & brandied cherries for the “Ironwood” Bellini to name a few. The atmosphere is friendly and unpretentious with an open kitchen and large patio for alfresco dining in the Summer. They offer local beers and wines as well as soda made with real sugar.
Owner Chef Megan Smith also teaches classes on select Saturday mornings. The “Culinary Camp” classes focus on techniques, food safety and kitchen economy that are built around her recipes. The goal is to introduce skills that will give individuals more confidence in the kitchen. Chef Smith feels that by sharing meals together with our friends and family we build stronger relationships and in turn, stronger communities.
