A 41-member board appointed by the board of Supervisors, they hope to guide and strengthen the workforce development efforts of the county. They are working to help both businesses and job seekers together by introducing and pairing them with low to no-cost resources, services and tools throughout the county. Their efforts improve not only the quality of the job seekers but they improve businesses by decreasing the time they spend searching for qualified candidates.
