The moon set the tempo of the day. . .

Yesterday I never stopped. Ben tried to keep up but at one point I noticed that he was sitting next to Kenny Ross’s desk and was so sweet looking because he had just gone to sleep. He loves Kenny and feels right at home and maybe that’s why I visit TEAM Superstores as much as I do.

Ben also loves Cheri at Bombshell Hair and Ink and he had a chance to catch up with her and her fellow stylists yesterday. He waited patiently for service and possibly a treat; but alas they were booked solid!

Last night’s full moon was so fantastic! I always feel like I have seen the most fabulous full moon and then the very next month I see a moon that is even more fabulous. Why is that? I think it’s because as you are looking at it you lose all memory of the last one and just focus on the one you are staring at. Sounds good, right?

The full moon might be the reason that cable had the movie “The Notebook” on last night. Why do I always watch that movie? It is so over the top romantic and sad, and each time I have seen it (possibly 25) I cry like a baby. I am too much of a romantic and I should know better than to watch movies like that, but oh well, that’s why I’m a romantic!

Stretches and deep meditation since I am on deadline, feed and long walk with Ben, and off we go. . .

A little under the weather. . .

Yesterday got away from us with deadlines and not feeling up to par. Ben kept me on target though and we went straight through the day and into the night with meetings.

Today we have a similar schedule and hopefully Ben will keep focused since I’m still not feeling 100%. The moon does help to feel better!

BIG stretches and meditation, feed and long walk with Ben, and off we go. . .

We made it through the day. . .

Early morning yesterday, Ben and I were in Lafayette, Danville and ended the day in Benicia at the Benicia Chamber of Commerce Mixer. (Everyone wanted to take a picture with Ben!) Whew! Long day but we were able to end it with dinner at our favorite sushi restaurant in Benicia. Visiting with old and new friends was great and then Ben and I were able to get to bed somewhat early so we could start all over again today.

LONG day today with lots of calls and appointments and ends with Ben and I having an evening of community fun tonight as well as tomorrow night. No rest for the us.

BIG Stretches, feed and long walk with Ben, and off we go. . .

And along comes life. . .

Sometimes life comes along and hits us in the belly and we have no recourse but to except it and try to continue on. This is such a time.

Enough said, let’s keep rambling. Leah Shelhorn of Studio 41, a sponsor of the Wednesday night “Ramble” at the Empress Theatre in Downtown Vallejo took time out to smile with two Vallejo Community Arts Foundation Board Members, Leigh Beck and Susan MacDonald. They said “Oh, what a night!”

Stretches, feed and walk Ben, and off we go. . .

Spring has sprung. . .

Today is the first day of Spring and normally I would have jumped out of bed to go outside but I am definitely dragging today. I spent 5 hours at Kaiser ER last night and wish I could have slept just a few extra hours. Oh well, mom is better and that is all that matters. So Spring has sprung!

Ben and I have an early morning meeting in Benicia and then LOTS of work on the computer. Hopefully we will get it all done in time to head to the Wednesday Night “Ramble” at the Empress Theatre in downtown Vallejo.

No time for stretches, feed Ben, and off we go. . .

We’re rolling along. . .

Today feels like a Monday – I feel like I keep missing days or are they just rolling too fast? Ben and I have a houseguest today so we’re anchored a little but having a great day so far. Hopefully Ben won’t have his feelings too hurt.

They say the rain is coming, I’m hoping not since I was really falling into this pre-summer weather. Everyday no matter where I am Ben and I find the beauty in the day and yesterday was no exception when we took our walk along the waterfront in Vallejo.

This afternoon we are going to take a little stroll to Yountville and see a few friends and Local Happenings Magazine readers. Somehow I always have a great day there!

Stretches, feed Ben, a little yard work and off we go. . .
