Crazy Fanfest in San Francisco!
Ben and I never stopped this weekend. From Friday morning until Sunday night we just kept going like little Energizer bunnies!
Saturday I decided to take a little break and do something that I have always said might be fun and have never done. KNCR San Francisco Giants Fanfest Day at AT & T Park in San Francisco. What a blast I had. Lunch on the Embarcadero, I forget how the little things in life make me smile.
We then decided to stop at Treasure Island since we have a new client on this fabulous destination in the San Francisco Bay Area. WOW. I hadn’t been in a while and I forgot how the scenery was amazing. We will definitely have stories to tell in the near future.
The evening in Yountville brought even more amazing scenery, sometimes I LOVE my job! OK, I love my job every day not just sometimes.
Early am stretches and meditation; feed and walk Ben and away we go. . .

With huge play areas, an absolutely wonderful staff, 55 acres of hiking, river romping, agility, endless fetching and plenty of snuggle time, Camp Four Paws is an exceptionally nice place to be a dog. They offer overnight lodging, day care, training, bathing and even have a passel of dogs up for adoption. Anybody need a pug? They’ll even pick up and drop off your dog for you after it’s had a wonderful bath, and what’s better than a clean, happy, tired dog? It’s an ideal situation for both you and your favorite furry friend. If you’d like more information give them a call. They’d love to meet you and your dog.

Formed in 1974, and the members have tirelessly worked since then to make a difference in their community. Their Annual Crab Freed is a large part of not only their fundraising efforts, but their community outreach as well. The event was originally run by the Host Lion’s Club but was turned over to the Executive Lion’s 4 years ago. All of the money that is raised at this fun annual event is donated back to the community. Half of the money raised is currently being given to the Dan Donahue Scholarship Fund. Dan Donahue was a Life Member of the Executive Lion’s Club and a community leader in Vallejo until his untimely passing. The event’s proceeds also benefit other endeavors the club supports in the community, such as providing eye exams and glasses to local children, the Mare Island Preserve, PAL, GVRD, the Continentals of Omega Boys & Girls Club, Rebuilding Together Solano, Habit for Humanity, Vallejo Sister City Association, the We Care About Vallejo organization, Salvation Army, the McCune Library, the Vallejo Community Arts Foundation, Vallejo Relay for Life, the WII ship Mighty Midget on Mare Island, just to name a few.
