Ben at the Pumpkin Patch at the French Laundry Gardens preparing for Halloween
So today is that day when the child in all of us comes alive and we can experience humor, creativity and a little fear. I remember as a child one year when my father had to literally carry me around the block because all of the other costumed children scared me so much. I still have never warmed up to being scared but I truly enjoy the fun of Halloween. It looks like we will have great weather all over the Bay Area since the rain has decided to stay away for one more day so the children can have a great day.
Ben and I will be heading to San Francisco early today for the SF Giants World Series Parade. Looking forward to a great time!
Be sure to check out the moon tonight!!!
No time for stretches, feed Ben, and then I’m gone . . .
If you didn’t see the moon last night, it’s OK, you still get a chance to check it out tonight! October is the month of the Full Hunter’s Moon. This was the time to hunt in preparation for winter. This full moon is also called the Travel Moon and the Dying Grass Moon. For me all full moons are special, but this one is always my favorite as this time of year is very special to me and always has been. It’s an enchanting time.
Today Ben and I will be very busy – we have so much to do so we can go to San Francisco tomorrow for the SF Giants Parade. We are very excited. Be sure to buy your candy for tomorrow!
Lots of stretches, feed and walk Ben, and then I’m gone . . .

My man Posey is missing!
So this weekend was a little surreal. I went into it having to reschedule everything I had planned since the SF Giants were in the World Series and my life had to be altered around the games. So much to do and so much was accomplished.
Number one, my nephew Rory’s Birthday party went off without a hitch and it was really great. Tree trimming was scheduled at my house and everyone came out to help. It was great and sooooo much was accomplished. Then Saturday night the SF Giants won and pretty much sealed the deal since we were at that point 3-0. Ben and I woke up late on Sunday and lounged around and then went on a long walk and visited with friends. Finally the SF Giants went into extra innings and won the game 4-3 to become World Champions! We were all so happy!
Ben and I will now schedule to go to San Francisco for the Parade to honor the SF Giants. Whoo hooo!
BIG, BIG, LONG stretches, feed and walk Ben, and then I’m gone . . .

I promised I would go to the Ramble and then the World Series intervened - I still went, just late!
Can it be? Yes, the SF Giants are up 2-0 in the 2012 World Series against the Detroit Tigers. We are the underdog and we appear to be walking away with this. I am hoping that we do not get ahead of ourselves and that we stay focused and just win it. I am so excited – I WILL be going to the parade this time.
Today Ben and I have so much to get done since we have been running crazy all week. So I will be in front of the computer most of the day with my nose to the grindstone.
SF Giants note: A little break so we can get prepared for Saturday in Detroit!
BIG, BIG, DEEP stretches, feed and walk Ben, and then I’m gone . . .

Thank you for a great performance Bumgarner!
This was not sent yesterday because I forgot to hit “Publish”, sorry!

Ben was all excited at all the hooting and hollering during Game 1 of the World Series
I am stunned since I did not see that win coming like that. I thought it was going to be a close game and had prepared myself that we might possibly lose. NOT! 8-3, no one saw this coming.
Today Ben and I will be making sure we get a lot done since we have to be back at the ranch in time for the today’s game.
SF Giants note: Today we need to stay tough and come out strong again.
BIG, BIG, DEEP stretches, feed and walk Ben, and then I’m gone . . .

Pablo hits 3 homeruns!

Ben out visiting the sites last week, this one in Danville
The day was such a fog of disbelief yesterday. I still can’t believe that today the SF Giants are playing Detroit in the World Series! I need to wake up and rub my eyes again to make sure that I’m not dreaming.
Ben and I ran around plenty yesterday in Vallejo and Benicia. Today we are off to Yountville again with a short day since I will be with the gang to watch the game and I need to be sitting in place a half hour before the game. Priorities!
SF Giants note: Detroit will be tough – we’ll need to come out strong.
BIG, BIG, DEEP stretches, feed and walk Ben, and then I’m gone . . .

Did I mention that we took a tour of Bouchon Bakery in Yountville over the weekend?!

Ben relaxing while we visit with Tucker at the French Laundry Gardens
Yesterday morning I woke up with such a good feeling. I headed to the French Laundry Gardens for a photo shoot and I must tell you it was unbelievably beautiful! The Napa Valley is beautiful on a normal day but after a heavy rain – FABULOUS! It was either going to be the worst photo shoot since it would be too sloppy or the sun would break and we would get incredible shots. I am happy to tell you that we have the most phenomenal shots that you will have a chance to see in the February/March issue of Local Happenings Magazine.
The day continued with Ben and I returning to Vallejo after the shoot and heading to the Ferry Building where I almost got killed. (Or at least was almost beat within an inch of my life!) I saw the most hideous scene when I saw a young man DRAGGING a young puppy no more than 8 weeks old along the road. I tried to get the dog and he

We had rain yesterday, but a friend sent this to me from Montana - Snow outside her window! Just beautiful.
tried to attack me, threw rocks and pushed me and basically told me he was going to kill me. Thanks to our quick response of our police and humane officers which I thankfully had on my cell phone, the young man was arrested and the puppy is now at a local veterinarian office receiving much needed medical care. The puppy’s legs and belly were stripped of skin and he is lucky to be alive. I just really have to question what goes through some people’s minds. I would do it again.
The day continued . . .
SF Giants note: WE WON! We are headed to the World Series! The gang got together and we cheered the Giants to victory. I am still in shock and not sure it really happened – tomorrow it will set in I am sure.
BIG, BIG, DEEP stretches, feed and walk Ben, and then I’m gone . . .

Ben ran into Snow White at the Danville Fall Crafts Fair
I love my Giants. With that being said – I am still in shock that they have rallied back and they have brought the series to a game 7! Ben and I are so happy.
Ben and I were so busy this weekend. We had the Giants on Friday plus Benicia Fashion Weekend. Saturday I had tons of errands/chores and then I had to make sure I was in Yountville by 7 pm so I could go on a personal tour of Bouchon Bakery and then have a dinner/wine event at Hurleys. (What FUN!) Sunday had me in Danville for the Fall Crafts Fair and then home in time to watch the Raiders and then GIANTS!!!! Of course I checked in with the Steelers game just so I could know, but really the Giants were the only game in town.
Heading out to a photo shoot at the French Laundry Gardens, yeah!
SF Giants note: We will be ready by 3:30 so we don’t miss a thing!
BIG, BIG, DEEP stretches, feed and walk Ben, and then I’m gone . . .
