The grand drive leading up to Far Niente Winery
Ben and I have so much to get done today. We have a breakfast meeting, a coffee meeting and a lunch meeting. Guess I better wear something loose! I am planning to have pancakes for breakfast so that should set the tone for the day. Tonight I have an event in Benicia which should be loads of fun, definitely a girl’s night but with a twist, that’s all I will say.
These pictures are from a recent trip to Far Niente Winery (See story in Oct/Nov issue) and I just have to say that no photos that were taken or these do it justice. I have decided that this winery is one of the most beautifiul I have ever been to. (I have been to quite a few!) It was like “Disneyland” for wine lovers.

One of the most beautiful vistas
SF Giants note: It is a do or die – let’s bring it home! I still love my Timmy!

Ben staying out of harms way from the firepit on the porch
Ben and I were enjoying our new home turf last night in Yountville and I have to say that it was probably one of the most beautiful evenings this fall. The stars seemed so close, the trees had that crisp scent and the crescent moon completed the picture. Add the perfect wine with Caesar salad and lemon prawn pasta in an outdoor setting and you would have to agree that it was perfect. Ben wasn’t crazy about the crackling of the fire pit but he did pretty well. Today we are getting another early start; Yountville is so quaint in the morning almost like Mayberry RFD.
Ben and I will be in the Napa Valley this morning and then make our way to Vallejo and Benicia. We have two new advertisers we are working with and then get ready for Giants/Niners and BBQ. Ben and I have a tough life!
SF Giants note: We continue our quest tonight – let’s root for both San Francisco teams!

My Man Timmy!

Is Wednesday always a hump day or only when you are working? I am pondering this. Today is hump day for me – I guess I still work for a living so yes, Wednesday is always a hump day..
Ben and I have an early rise so I can get to a morning meeting and still get a few things done before the game.
Ben was out exploring yesterday and ran into quite a few people and was at the Diablo Country Club. (Dogs are not allowed!) Ben was able to get special permission to be there for a Bocce tournament and he was told he could come back any time since he was so well behaved.
SF Giants note: My fellow SF Giant brothers are banding together so that we can all experience a win today. Not a must but would be nice to not always have torture.

Magazine looks great. Good response to the ad.

I LOVE the on-line magazine. The layout is very user friendly and the rotating business ads on the home page is great! Keep up the good work!

Not much to say since I am having lots of fun! Ben is out making friends and not only that but we have determined that he definitely has separation anxiety. Thank God that he is so easy and everyone loves him.

I have loved this guy since he came to the Giants, but after last night, I LOVE this guy!
I have lots to do today so I can watch the game tomorrow afternoon. Ben and I are planning a very FUN day.
SF Giants note: I am still living the dream – seeing the game tonight I am a believer!

A personal favorite picture!
Sometimes a moment happens that shakes you out of a dream-like state and you crash right into your life where you should be. Home. This is where everything is good and I feel like I just came back from a long trip.
Mondays are always a little turbulent since I have a am meeting right off the bat, the past few Monday we have been shaking it up a bit. Today I have meetings, more deliveries, more meetings and then hopefully watching the Giants win.
SF Giants note: Let’s get it done boys! We need to get out our bats! We have to beat St. Louis!

This picture gets me in the mood for cooler weather and harvest

Ben was captivated with these two ladies: Floria Hakimi, Partner at Empire Realty and her assistant, Angie Roudnev.
Ben was very busy yesterday. We headed to the Benicia Tourism meeting very early and then had to dash to make it to the start of the Giants game. He was very upset since there was a lot of clapping, screaming and cursing going on! Then we had to go on a long walk to get all that pent up tension out. Then we headed to go see our friends in Danville. It was nice to walk the downtown and say hi to our friends that we hadn’t seen for about a month.
The Danville Chamber of Commerce Mixer was held at Empire Realty on Diablo Blvd. The event was very well attended and our hosts really outdid themselves. Ben also had a great time and had a chance to take photos with a few people. Ben was invited back since he made so many friends!
SF Giants note: UNBELIEVABLE! I think I am still in a state of shock that Posey hit a grand slam and catapulted us into more post season play. I am willing to stay in the dream like state for as long as need be. Unfortunately the Oakland A’s are not going any further, but I am sure they will be back next year, they have a young team.
