See you there!
Not really, but I do get to slow down a little and maybe enjoy the boys of summer this last week of regular season of baseball. A’s and Giants both are in the post season and both have come back from huge deficits this year. This is Bay Area baseball at its finest.
I think Ben and I will putter around this morning and then go to Napa later for a long walk and to see some regular advertisers. Keep an eye out for us because we are definitely going to be everywhere. Maybe a little “Ramble” later . . .
SF Giants note: Great game guys, knocked Dodgers out of playoff contention, I guess the regulars deserve a day off before – PLAYOFFS!
BIG, BIG, LONG, DEEP stretches, feed and walk Ben, and then I’m gone . . .

I always have a sense of accomplishment with each issue that comes out especially when I am ahead of schedule! I have a whole day to look at it and correct little things that I often see after I have gone to press. (I am sure that there will be some things that I do not catch! It is Murphy’s Law!)
Ben and I will have a more relaxing day today and maybe even go on a walk that we have been deprived of the last couple of days. Ahhh, Calgon take me away!
SF Giants note: Today we go at it again, “BEAT LA!” ON a side note we have to be happy for our fellow Bay Area baseball team, the A’s. They too will be going to post season play so I know a few people that will be happy.

October is here with a vengeance! Fall is here, the nights are darker, the weather is cooler and the colors are so vibrant. Oranges, reds, yellows, and even greens just look brighter at this time of year. The pumpkins will come out and Ben and I will travel to the various pumpkin patches to make sure that we get the best of the best.
The October/November issue of Local Happenings will be out on the street at the end of the week so my days will be VERY busy the next few days. Ben is anxious to get out there to take more pictures, be on the lookout for him.
SF Giants note: Have I said “I love my Giants!” I am pretty sure I have, but let me say it again and again and today let’s “BEAT LA!”

One of my new favorite pictures of Ben
This week is killing me, I can’t seem to catch up and most of it is my fault. I have had last minute things come up and this is just how life goes sometimes. Oh well, I’ll think about it tomorrow.
People to see, places to go and lots to do so off I go.
SF Giants note: The game was FABULOUS and I am so glad I took the time to go. A great game and a good time with old and new friends. The boys of summer are making me proud!

Zito will be on the mound today!
Yesterday is gone but I feel like it was never here. I missed it. I had so much to do and I am wondering if anything really got done. I am not running straight right now – every time I come around the bend I feel like there is another turn I need to take and I never get back on the road I started on. Have you ever felt like that?
I’m up – on target and very much motivated to get what I need to do done. Does that make sense? Oh well – it does to me! (Plus I am sneaking away to watch the Giants game!)
SF Giants note: Have I said it before, “I LOVE MY GIANTS!” But, we need to step it up a few boys and get hungry again or we will never make it in post season! I get to watch live and in person the Giants in their last regular season home game with great seats. I’ll take pictures.

Ben still visits with his regular customers even though he has been missing the park!
Poor Ben – he has suffered. I have been so busy I have not been able to get him to the parks on a regular basis! Last night I ran into a dog park friend and he mentioned he hadn’t seen me in a while (I have been there, just at different times.) so it made me feel bad. Today I am very motivated – I will be going on a LONG walk with Ben!
Ben and I have lots to do and many people to talk to so I can be off the next two days. What? Don’t ask, it’s a whole other discussion.
SF Giants note: We can’t win every game, OK maybe we could, but we didn’t. I still love my Timmy.

Ben and I enjoyed an early Fall day at the "Castle"
OK, OK, I can find something I love about each season, but Fall leading to Winter is very warm and fuzzy to me. The air is crisper, the smells are better, colors are more vibrant and the weather is still so beautiful! I am loving each and every day even with the various pitfalls of life – I am so lucky!
Ben and I had a great day and fun night with friends and loved ones, today is going to be just as great, full of appointments and hard work. Bring it on!
SF Giants note: Day off yesterday – game on tonight – I LOVE MY GIANTS!
LONG DEEP stretches, feed and walk Ben, and then I’m gone . . .
I just love the moon! I never tire of seeing it, watching it and basically dreaming about it. Full, half, crescent, it doesn’t matter, I love the moon. I think it is because basically I’m a dreamer and everything seems possible when you look at the moon.

REALLY?!
Last night I went to a party sponsored by a fellow magazine in the Napa Valley and it was really nice but as I left I couldn’t help but notice a Christmas tree in the window of one of the downtown stores. (after I looked at the moon!) REALLY?! I LOVE the Christmas holidays and everything about it – but it’s September. Barely fall, not even winter and there it was. I had to take a picture to share it with all of you. I think I’ll go buy a pumpkin today to get into the holiday spirit I should be enjoying.
SF Giants note: Can you believe we clinched? I still can’t. The party was unbelievable – I LOVE MY GIANTS!
