Life is good . . .

A familiar view, just from a little different angle - still beautiful!

The past few days have been so surreal. Since last Thursday, things have been rollercoastering (is that a word?) out of control in a good way. The Vallejo Chamber of Commerce Golf Tournament was soooo much fun! Did I mention that our foursome won in the mixed division? We were just having the best time and I didn’t even think about winning since our foursome had never played together before, but we all just connected. We will have even more fun when we all play at Bridges Golf Course, one of our winning prizes! Thanks Vallejo Chamber.

The Peddlers’ Fair in Benicia was also on the calendar this weekend, had a great time and connected with lots of people that I haven’t seen in a while and some I see every day!

I spent a lot of time in my old stomping ground this past weekend, Green Valley and on my old street, Vintage Lane too. Very weird but somehow comfortable, BBQs and beautiful views are highly underrated. Ben had a great time as well!

Today, meetings, Yountville lunch and then making sure that little baby Jax is doing OK. Facebook has been good for getting updates, but I will make the trek to make sure he is really OK.

SF Giants note – Posey, Posey and more Posey! OK Hunter Pence was OK yesterday as well!

BIG, Big Stretches, feed Ben, latte, water the yard, and then I’m gone  . . .

“You’ve got to get up every morning . . .

How sad does Ben look?!

with a smile on your face and show the world, all the love in your heart.” Thank you Carole King for giving me the lyrics to my life. This has been a very trying week, with Ben having surgery on Monday, to a friend passing and then to another friends’ baby getting a liver transplant just in time. I need to get back to my gardening to relax.

Today is the Vallejo Chamber Golf Tournament at Hiddenbrooke, I am tired already since it will be sooooo hot! I am playing with a new foursome so it should be fun and different – I am sure I will have a picture of the winning mixed team!

Thanks everyone for the emails and posts on this blog, I am glad that we are connecting.

SF Giants note – Let’s get ready for the weekend!

Of all the local magazines, I love yours the best!
The photos and the editorial are awesome.

We love the Local Happenings Magazine! We have copies for the general public in our offices and always use it as a reference for what’s happening in the Danville Area.

It’s very early . . .

Ben is very camera shy with his wound!

Since I have to be an appointment out of town first thing this morning, 8:00 am for me, I have to get going a lot earlier than usual. I will be out the door by 7 am and Ben has to go with me so we will try to figure out how to watch him 24/7 since he can NOT lick his wound from his surgery. It has definitely been a trying week with him being an invalid.

Yountville this morning and Danville later – just another three county day for me. Tomorrow will be the Chamber Golf Tournament at Hiddenbrooke, I am tired again, and I need a longggggg massage!

SF Giants note – 15-0, can’t you guys save some of those runs for this weekend!

BIG Stretches, feed Ben, latte, water the yard, and then I’m gone  . . .
