The Yountville crowd taking time to wave for the camera!
Yountville rocks! The Yountville Chamber Mixer at St. Supery Winery was absolutely wonderful, they really outdid themselves. Chicken and mushroom crepes and pate crostinis with the most amazing wines; Sauvignon Blanc, Cabernet and one of the smoothest Bordeaux I have ever tasted.
After that Somerston Winery hosted everyone for a mini concert with Brian Cline on their patio. Ben loved the music and everyone loved Ben. Thanks Lamar for hosting such a great event!
Today is VERY busy – Ben will be in Benicia first thing this am, then who knows where . . .
Stretches, feed Ben, latte, water the yard and I’m gone . . .

Brian Cline performing for the crowd
Benicia Tourism meeting first thing this morning, so ready to change things and get new things slated for the rest of the year.

Scotts Seafood, one of 5 restaurants at the Lafayette Mixer, put on quite the spread for the crowd.
Yesterday the 5 chamber mixer in Lafayette was a HUGE success. It was so crowded that it was hard to talk to anybody. The food was great and the vets seemed to appreciate the support. The after party at Metro was even better – thanks everyone!
Tonight the Yountville Chamber will be mixing at St. Supery Winery with an after party at Somerston Winery to hear Brian Cline play. What a treat, Yountville knows how to do it right.
Stretches, feed Ben, latte, water the yard and I’m gone . . .
Our very own San Francisco Giants showed the world why we love them! They set the tone for the game in the first inning, sealed it in the fourth and Melky won MVP, WOW!

Ben was out visiting friends last night!
Enough about extracurricular activities, today I need to get to a lot of places. I start in Benicia, then on to Yountville, then a 5 chamber mixer in Lafayette tonight. Busy, but good busy, so Ben will have an opportunity to visit your place of business, be on the watch. (Plus he is telling me he needs a walk!)
Back to my stretches, feed Ben, latte, water the yard and I’m gone . . .

Ben hugging and kissing one of his favorite people, Kenny Ross!
I was able to start the week off with a feeling of accomplishment since we were able to get our video profiles picked and put on the calendar, the Local Happenings Awards editorial for the magazine and the chambers done and the layout is farther ahead of schedule than it has ever been at this time of the month. All this was done before 11 am since I unfortunately had to go to the dentist, UGH! So today, I am not at full speed and not feeling well, so hopefully tomorrow will be back to normal.
Luckily Ben has friends that came to play with him. (He would not leave my side to go to the park though!)
No stretches since I need to stay in bed, feed Ben, latte and I’m anchored for a while . . .

Fuego doesn't want me to leave! Ben wasn't happy about sharing his blog space!
We are back at it again, a few days off and we are jazzed to get back to the work world again. Not that we didn’t have a great time over the holidays, thanks Laurie and Erick for the Fireworks and BBQ, it was fabulous and thanks Karen and Dick for the weekend party, what a spread! I also loved the gang from Calgary and a special thanks to them for Angele! Ben is anxious to come visit.
Have to do some major stretches today since Fuego was a little fresh over the weekend, feed Ben, latte and I’m off . . .

Ben visited the TEAM booth at the Napa Chefs Market, the only dog allowed!
Ben wishes everyone a “Happy and Safe” holiday – he is on vacation thru Monday and will catch up with his Local Happenings then.

Ben is staying out of the heat this 4th of July!

Ben is happy to be back on familiar territory! A beach he had been going to since he was 8 weeks old.
Yesterday Ben traveled to 6 counties! We saw so many people and so many places I couldn’t keep up. From the beach to the hills, we had an unbelievable day. We started in Monterey County, stopped in Santa Clara County, had a couple stops in Alameda County, made sure I stopped in Contra Costa and then landed back in Solano County. This was all by 2 pm! The fun continued and we headed to Napa where we ended the day with friends getting ready for the holiday.
Today the fun continues – have to take time to do some editorial and layout for the cover but then I have to make sure we are ready for the celebrations tonight.
Have to do some major stretches today, feed Ben, water the yard and I’m off . . .

Ben is also comfortable in the country!

Taking a moment for a photo op that Ben can't be in!
Friday I had a chance to be at Six Flags Discovery Kingdom to be one of the first to ride the Superman Ultimate Flight Rollercoaster. The crowd was excited and I felt bad for the normal park goers who did not get to ride on Friday, but oh well! I was able to chat with SF Giants Coach Jim Harbaugh for a few minutes about his ride and a few more about the 49ers, of course one minute for a photo op!
Today I have the ability to be in 5 counties – wow! Ben and I are tired already. Be careful, you might see us today . . .
Early morning start, so no time for stretches, of course, feed Ben, water the yard and I’m off (latte on the road again today) . . .

What a "SUPER" spread they had at the Superman Ultimate Flight event!
